When it comes to major repairs of your roof, you have a few options. While we do offer roof repairs, there are times when these simple repairs are not sufficient to save the roof of your home or commercial property. In these cases, we may recommend a full roof replacement or reroofing. A roof replacement is pretty straightforward to understand: we fully remove your old roof and install a new roof. Reroofing, on the other hand, works with your existing roof to create a new shell that protects your home or place of business from the elements. 

Reroofing is not for every roof. Your roof needs to meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for reroofing services: 

• Your roof is otherwise in good condition
• Your roof is not suffering from water damage
• Your roof has not previously been reroofed
• Your roof does not have any rotting areas
• Your roof does not sag 

If your roof meets these requirements, we will be able to proceed with the reroofing process. However, if you are experiencing any of these issues, such as water damage or rot, we may recommend a full roof replacement instead. Our team will thoroughly inspect your existing roof before we make a recommendation as to how we should proceed. 

Reroofing involves layering a new set of shingles over your existing roof, reinforcing your existing roof and providing a new, waterproof layer to protect your home. It is important to know that reroofing can only be done one time; if you have previously reroofed your home, we cannot add an additional layer to your roof. In these cases, we recommend a full roof replacement.
